FAS 6880 Key lock by Sargent & Greenleaf

The FAS 6880 Euro footprint safe lock made by S&G, this is another key setable lock

They used to be sprung left & right, but there was a pin & cam pick that could defeate it so they now just asseble them in any order as the tool was fixed, looking at the lock it would pick with a 2 in 1 tool

The 6890 has a detecter mechanisum so a 2 in 1 would not work, I have not seen the 6890 lock myself but im told you can decode with a 2 in 1 & assembe a height key, there is a tool called the pick & form that will defeate these lock but costs, this is not a lock that I see on the regular safes in the UK, I would expect it on some of the higher grades or german stuff,

I had to drill open one of these the other day on a Dudley safe labeld as a Churchill safe, I would have expected to find a Mauer 71111, luckely no glass so managed an opening from the front, but next one I definatly need a pick

Just reasemble in change key mode & turn the key once its back together
