Return and Refund Policy

Return and Refund Policy

At Locksdownunder, we are committed to providing you with high-quality products and excellent service. This policy outlines our approach to returns and refunds for both digital and physical products, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law Guarantees

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), consumers are entitled to certain guarantees when purchasing goods and services. These guarantees apply regardless of any separate warranties or return policies offered by a business. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.1 You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Products Covered by This Policy

This policy applies to:

  • Digital Products: Including, but not limited to, software, e-books, online courses, and digital templates.
  • Physical Products: Tangible goods shipped to you.

When You Can Request a Return/Refund

You are entitled to a return or refund only if a product:

  • Is faulty or defective.
  • Is not fit for the purpose for which it was advertised or sold.
  • Does not match the description provided.

When We Do Not Accept Returns/Refunds

We do not offer returns or refunds for "change of mind" purchases. Please choose carefully when making your purchase.

How to Initiate a Return Request

If you believe your product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match its description, please initiate a return request using our online form.

You can access the form directly here: https://locksdownunder.com.au/store/index.php?route=account/return/add

Alternatively, you'll find a "Returns" link at the bottom of every page on our website.

To help us process your request efficiently, please provide the following information on the form:

  • Your order number.
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • For physical products, photographs or videos illustrating the fault, if possible.
  • For digital products, a detailed explanation of the problem you are experiencing.

Assessment of Your Claim

Once we receive your return request, we will assess the issue in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. We may ask for further information or evidence to help us understand the problem.

Refunds, Replacements, or Repairs

Depending on the nature of the issue and your rights under Australian Consumer Law, we will offer one of the following remedies:

  • Refund: If a product has a major problem, you are entitled to a refund. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Replacement: If a product has a major problem, you may choose a replacement instead of a refund. If the problem is not major, we may offer a replacement.
  • Repair: For physical products with minor faults, we may offer to repair the item within a reasonable timeframe.

Returning Physical Products

If a return of a physical product is required, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send the item. Products must be returned in their original packaging (if applicable) unless otherwise instructed. We will cover the reasonable costs of returning a faulty product.

Digital Products

For digital products, if a refund is approved, your access to the digital product will be revoked.
