Chubb Strongroom Door Relocker Issue:

Recently, I encountered a situation at a local club involving a Chubb strongroom door with a Lagard safe lock. The club staff, unfamiliar with the battery replacement procedure for this particular lock, attempted to force the keypad open with a screwdriver, inadvertently disconnecting the spindle connecting the keypad to the lock mechanism.

Another locksmith was called in to address the issue. While they successfully removed the lock to realign components, they unfortunately allowed the relockers to deploy. Once fired, the relockers could not be reset, leaving the strongroom door compromised.

I was subsequently engaged to resolve the problem. My work involved carefully resetting and realigning the rods and other components to ensure the relockers were properly disengaged and the entire locking system was fully functional again.
